Pond Building Facts

By: South Georgia Fisher
When you are building a pond you need to know these simple facts. The first theng you need to know is that the water must be at least eight feet deep. The second thing is the water shoreline must be protected from livestock unless the pond is over five acres. The last thing is the dam must be constructed for permanency and water tightness, and the drainage area should be adequate but not excessive fo water storage.

I love the picture! Make sure you're using creative commons photos. Also, this list would be great separated and with some headings. Great job and excellent beginning.

Nice layout...great photo!

You may want to recommend the eBook I wrote to your readers. It's a detailed yet concise guide to everything you need to know about pond building. They can download it at http://www.www-WaterGarden.com.

It goes into great details of designing and building a pond for a healthy ecosystem.

Cheers!
